Dear Families,
Welcome to a new year.  Our program this year is blessed with the generosity of over 50 volunteers who will be working and sharing with over 700 children and young adults in Vietnamese, Spanish, and English classes.
This handbook contains important information about classroom procedures as well as information on the Sacraments and the sacramental preparation process.  There is a calendar in the front of this handbook.  The dates for parent’s workshops, retreats, sacraments, important dates in the liturgical year as well as class dates for those enrolled in the religious education program are included in the calendar.
Speaker information for the parent workshops will be sent home with the students prior to each parent workshop. Workshops in Spanish will also be available.  We are working with St. Stanislaus parish in order to offer a variety of topics and dates to choose from. Please check the parish bulletin for workshops scheduled at St. Stanislaus.
To demonstrate our commitment to the safety and emotional well being of the children in our program, we have included in our curriculum a five part, diocesan approved program published by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, called Kids and Company.  Also in compliance with the Bishops Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, we require that all volunteers over the age of eighteen be fingerprinted.
Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.  We look forward to journeying with you and your children this year.

 May God bless you,
